Corpus Christi, TX (October 31, 2000) -- It was announced today that Interconnect Services has been selected by Viva Gaming & Resorts/Corpus Christi Day Cruise, LLC. as its Official Internet Service Provider. Interconnect.Net will provide the "high-speed" Internet access to the Corpus Christi Day Cruise office located at Harbor Island. Likewise, Interconnect will provide IT Consulting as well as Network Servers for the cruise ship.
The cruises for Friday evening and Saturday will be $24.95. The price includes a buffet, entertainment and the casinos.
The ship operates two cruises a day, seven days a week. Day cruises are noon to 5:30 p.m. during the day and 7 p.m. to midnight in the evening. Friday and Saturday evening cruises will last from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The ship will let people have a club card that will provide incentives for those who frequent the ship. Moreover, the ship will have activities for passengers even if they don't want to gamble. There are three restaurants, a dance club and a showroom with entertainment.
The cruises will be for adults over the age of 21. Viva expects 400,000 passengers per year. Each cruise can handle 1,264 people and a crew of 200. Tickets may be purchased through Tickets.Com or through Texas Treasure and Casino's officel website located at www.texastreasurecasino.com.
