Asked if the consumer should purchase wireless connectivity rather than a wired connection, Beam said, "If a wired broadband solution is available, other than cable Internet access, I would always choose (or attempt to sell) the wired connection unless the cost of the wired connection is budget prohibitive. Unfortunately, many aren't so fortunate to get to choose technologies."

Interconnect.Net's high-speed wireless product-line is scheduled to be available by mid Quarter 1, 2002.
